Terms and conditions
The terms that govern use of this website and engagement with our services.
Effective date: May 2026 • Last updated: May 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Trier Services website and your engagement with our services. By visiting this Site or submitting a contact request, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use this Site.
1. Definitions
- Company refers to Trier Services, operated by Michael, serving Northern Indiana. Indiana Contractor License #PC11202394.
- Site refers to this website and all content within it.
- Services refers to the construction, remodeling, roofing, pole barn, and repair services offered by the Company.
- You refers to any person who visits this Site or requests Services.
2. Agreement to these terms
By accessing this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to agree to these terms. If you are requesting services on behalf of a property owner or organization, you represent that you have the authority to do so.
3. Our services
Trier Services provides residential and light commercial construction, remodeling, roofing, pole barn construction, and repair services throughout Northern Indiana — including Kosciusko, Marshall, Elkhart, and surrounding counties. We reserve the right to limit or adjust our service area, offerings, and availability at any time without prior notice.
Every project is assessed individually. The scope, timeline, and cost of any project can only be determined after an in-person evaluation. Service descriptions on this Site are general representations of our capabilities, not commitments to any specific scope of work.
4. Quote requests and project agreements
Submitting a contact form on this Site constitutes a request to discuss your project — not a confirmed appointment or a binding agreement to perform work. We will respond to your inquiry to schedule an in-person assessment when appropriate. A formal project agreement begins only when a written estimate or contract is signed by both parties.
5. No contractor-client relationship from website use
Using this website — including submitting a contact form, reviewing project photos, or reading service descriptions — does not establish a contractor-client relationship. That relationship is created only through a signed written agreement.
6. Your responsibilities
When requesting or receiving services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your property, project scope, and any conditions that may affect the work
- Disclose any known structural, electrical, plumbing, or other issues relevant to the project
- Confirm you have the legal authority to authorize work on the property
- Be available or designate a reachable point of contact during active work
- Make timely payment as outlined in the written project agreement
Providing incomplete or inaccurate information may affect our ability to accurately price or complete your project and could affect the outcome of the work.
7. Our right to decline or discontinue work
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any project at our professional discretion. This includes situations involving undisclosed hazardous conditions, scope changes that cannot be accommodated, or circumstances that would make completing the work unsafe or impractical. If work must stop due to conditions outside the original agreed scope, you will be responsible for costs incurred to date, as outlined in the signed project agreement.
8. Website content
The content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep it current, but we make no warranties about its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. For current pricing, availability, and project details, contact us directly.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this Site — including text, photographs, project images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Trier Services. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without written permission.
10. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use this Site to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Site
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from this Site using automated tools
- Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trier Services, its owner, and any associated parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of this Site, your violation of these Terms, or your failure to provide accurate information when requesting services.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Kosciusko County, Indiana, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to a jury trial for any such dispute.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
14. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
